Hunch lets you create a friendly bet on a baby's milestones, share it with family and friends, collect their guesses, and reveal the results. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
We do not collect your email, contacts, location, or photos, and we use no analytics, advertising, or tracking.
Your data is stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit) under your own iCloud account, not on servers we operate. Shared babies are stored in the creator's iCloud and made available to invited people through Apple's sharing. We have no separate backend and cannot see your data.
When you share a baby, invited people can see its hunches, add guesses, and — after each reveal — see results and who guessed what. The creator can see the roster of guesses.
With your permission, the app schedules reminders and reveal alerts on your device. You can turn these off anytime in iOS Settings.
You can delete your account and the babies you created at any time from Settings → Delete account & data in the app. This removes your profile and your created content from iCloud, and revokes your Sign in with Apple token.
The app is intended for adults arranging a celebration. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
